Yea, i guess I could have the carrier machine out, get a 29 spline locker, and then upgrade to some AlloyUSA shafts and get the 29 splines. By maching out the carrier, I wouldn't have to regear most likely either, correct?

Probably not, but you'll have to check on that. I don't see why you'd have to unless there's some reason they can't do it with the ring on it (heat, metal shavings, etc.).

Regear is much easier to type than setting up the gear for th eproper pattern, you know what I mean.
