Here is the leaking XJ: http://luvmyjp.bigoffroad.com/98xjpics.htm
When it's hot (210-230 according to cooled fluid on return line) fluid dripps out of the bell housing onto the exhaust. This only happens when it's hot.
I think the seal is bad, and when the fliud gets hot, it expands and overflows. Sound probable?
So it goes in the tranny shop tomorrow. They owe me a favor and are pulling it an replacing the seal for nothing. The tranny has 134k on it. Should I just pay for rebuild kit and have it done while it's out.
Are there any upgrades I can do to the gearing? anything else? I am installing a larger cooler.
Thanks
