the thing is that its at a kids house who said hes had it for 2-3 years, and registered it. carfax says that the last owner had it registered in 1992. the current "owner" cant find the title, and a "mouse" ate his registration in the glove box. he might be telling the truth, i dont really know. i was trying to find out if carfax reported that it was registered in his town on or around 2003/2004. I'm going to call him tonight and see if he can get a duplicate title. my fear is that he wont want to go through the hassle of doing it for a $125 MJ.
i do have a refundable deposit on it now, and a bill of "refundable deposit" signed by BOTH of us. so maybe i can get him to hold onto it while he gets a new title.

it seems that hes running in circles. they had a registration, but it seemed like it was the previous owners. NH wont give a new title, and i cant take it w/o a registration or a title. im beginning to believe hes BSing me. now i can hope for my $25 back.
