Adam's 98 5-speed Build

Love this rig!!

I've got a set of those flush mounts too, planning on going in the hatch like that but I want to go farther out.
I've got a spare hatch to practice on so we will see.

Looks great though!

This is still the sanest and nicest build on NAXJA... Great truck! Nice fabrication

Thanks man it's no show piece both doors are caved in on the passenger side. I'm trying to decide what I want to do either find some manual black factory doors and armor them or buy or make tube doors.

It would be way easier going further out as there's a curve that you have to account for where I put mine and you have to get creative with the bracing inside the hatch.

ups guy came :)

Turned out to be a pain so I just pulled the fenders.

This made trimming and fitting and drilling much easier.

Painted in 2 coats of primer and 3 of the top coat of semi gloss black.

Should be in final assembly tomorrow after work.

Changing things up opening up the wheel wells a bit and adding rear tube flairs from the rear bumper sides to my sliders. The new bumper sides will tie into the 1/4 armor and gusseted and braced to the plated unibody. The rear bumper will still be removable. When it's all said and done.

oh i see now. Not at all what I was envisioning. I thought the tube was bent behind the plate. Nice job.
