A little assistance needed(non jeep related)

I am in need of a transmission for my daughtors truck. It done went BANG!!! on the way to school ths morning.

A few details...

2000 Ford F150
4.6 v8
auto trans (sounds like a bread maker now)
139xxx miles

I eother need this one rebuilt or a reliable used one.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I am pretty sure the case is good. I am planning on starting to pull it out after this weekend.

I dont know what all is needed until it is apart ?

Would be nice to have a fresh trans in it.

Depending on what is damaged inside, it might be cheaper to replace it. I think it should be a 4R70W in there, if so I could take care of it for you Dennis.
