Thinking of selling my XJ to get something more family friendly. Here's a quick rundown:
96 4.0 auto 231 case @160k miles
D30 8.25 3.55s
RE 4.5" front coils
RC adjustable lowers
RE fixed uppers
Bastard pack rear springs and shackle
35x12.5x15 BFG mud terrains with full spare
15x8 black rockcrawler rims
Iron rock hack and tap with XJ front shaft in rear
Lots of trimming
Longer brake lines
Longer shocks
Front frame reinforcement plates
Custom front bumper, winch mount in progress
Curt rear hitch
Etc....
I daily drive locally it and it has been great all winter, its a great beater or trail rig. If you want to make it a highway cruiser I'd recommend gears etc...
My plans were to swap in an 8.8 with 4.10s and regear the front.
I'm thinking $3500 is fair, can take more pics of anything wanted or check it out in Cranford, NJ exit 136 off the parkway.
