My Cherokee won't start but while I was attempting to start it, it literally blew my oil dipstick 10 feet away....YES....10 feet away. Was wondering why did that happen? What causes that to happen?

Will, it sounds like you have fuel in the crank case. You need to take a hard look, and see if your XJ has a fuel pressure regulator on the injector rail. If it does, pull the vacuum hose and see if there is gas at the vacuum hose. If there is, the fuel pressure regulator is bad.
