89 Comanche build thread

Love it!

nice work!

BTW, if you make the trip up, I've got a pair of factory non-fog 97+ front bumper end caps that you can have.

ok guys, here is some more photos. For those of you who are curious about Hannemans fiberglass. I do like the product, It does require some trimming and some fitting to get it to fit nice, but to be fair, the jeep probably wasnt to straight either, and its fiberglass race parts....they dont come from chrysler. At any rate, I cut most of the bedside (what as left of it) off minus about an inch and half all the way around. Then I used 3M panel adhesive and glued them on, temporary zip screws held it in place. I need to finish up my hood, I have a reverse cowl for it. Also, there is a photo of the bedside struts I had to fabricate to hold the besides from waving in the wind. I am planning on building some inner fenderwells out of aluminum, and I will more than likley build a custom bed cover as well. A bead roller should make the whole thing look pretty nice.

So its been forever. I apologize. I am looking for some opinions though. First of all, the color. What do you guys and girls think of it? Secondly, how does that 97+ XJ tail light look? (Thanks John) user/XJ-ARNIE/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150220_171704775_zps95278912.jpg.html]

Looking good. You gonna take that thing out to the badlands and blast up some sand dunes at WF!

I'd love to, I don't think I'm going to make it though. After its painted I've got a little trans work to do. Simultaneously I'm trying to load the 60s under my Xj with some gears and whatnot. My own fault, too many projects at one time.
