8.8 brake pads

I've heard the brakes are hard to change on the 8.8 axles when swapped into a XJ.

Fact or fiction?

The only reason I could see that would be the short flexible brake line between the caliper and the hard line on the axle.

I don't think it would be any worse than the fronts?

Nah pretty easy of you ask me.

What did you hear that was hard about it?

The bolts that hold the caliper on are blocked by the leaf spring from coming out enough to remove the caliper to install the new pads.

On my comanche the top bolt wont come all the way out but I can still get the caliper off no problem. Just have to remember to put the bolt back in before you slide the caliper on.

Man, you guys are being harsh on me.....
