The only reason I could see that would be the short flexible brake line between the caliper and the hard line on the axle.
I don't think it would be any worse than the fronts?

The bolts that hold the caliper on are blocked by the leaf spring from coming out enough to remove the caliper to install the new pads.

Yes one caliper bolt wont come all the way out.. but it doesnt have to
trail rate this

Same consensus as the rest, top wont come all the way out, but it doesn't need to. I have just enough room to get a ratchet wrench in to loosen the bolt.
