4.10 or 4.56 gears

I have never read a post that said after the fact "Man those gears were JUST too low. i wish i hadn't bought them"

Here you go...

I used to run 4.56 gears with 31's (manual tranny), and other than heavy off-road, I thought they were too low. In the rocks, they were great.

Coming from 3.07's, my mileage went from about 21 to about 17MPG as well.

I rebuilt the rig and now run 3.55's -but I stay out of the rocks now also...

So, I had 4.56 gears, thought they were too low for what I was doing, and now run 3.55 and am happy with them.

That being said, if I was towing, I would go 4.56 as well...
