35's and stock axles?

lol, Im suprised to see so many supporters of this idea!

I changed out my 8.25 when I was on 33s but I just took my 30 out the other day. On 35s with my stock axle I broke stub shafts almost everytime... I upgraded to chromo shafts and haven't had a problem.

Well, you'd do that with alloys in the 8.25 as well too.

when i was running 35's i broke quite a few stub shafts, even chromo ones. but 95% of the breakage was due to u joint failure. not the actual shaft. i was terrible about changing them, that and never went full circle clips or tacked them in.

d30 front with a lock right, 27 spline 8.25 open. 35inch kevlars. jeep had 3.07 gears stock and i swaped these on off a wrecked 96 with low miles and these were 3.55 gears. my spedometer is almost correct. and i hammer my jeep hard up here in montana and i have not broken anything on these axles yet. (cross fingers)
