Due to the workload required of me at university, I have to sell all of my projects. The Jeepra is $4500. All the work has been highly documented and can be viewed on the NAXJA forum and on my Facebook albums. I have been dailying the vehicle in its current form now for several months, but with emissions systems currently apart and inspection/registration run out, I can no longer drive her on the street legally.
Further details are listed below. Contact me privately with any serious inquiries.

From the onset of the project a super-clean result was always paramount. 1 year of research alone went into the transmission configuration. The level of detail is evident in things like the gauge cluster that was sourced from a diesel XJ in Romania so an OEM boost gauge could be installed. There are many extra components, including a hood, front right fender, and bucket seats.

1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ. Runs and drives well, but is still requiring a shifter modified and installed to ease shifting and all OBDII codes handled to make emissions legal. She will also require a small lift (min 2”) with appropriate bump stops and a new exhaust put on in order for her to reach significant boost levels. There is some additional heat management that needs to be done and an oil pan repair/replacement (small and slow drip) now that she has been driving for awhile. Should get an aftermarket transmission oil cooler installed. The rear axle angle needs to be shimmed.

2JZ-GTE engine, originally J-spec, converted to US-Spec OBDII.

• Custom turbo kit.
• Modified and built/upgraded A340e/AW4 hybrid automatic transmission.
• 4WD
• Stock Jeep drivetrain and suspension from transfer case back.
• I have a PLETHORA of collected parts and components that come with the Jeep. Everything from bushings, cruise control, body panels and bumpers to additional ECUs.
• All emissions systems and installation/troubleshooting documentation have been acquired.

I have a lot of intimate knowledge, obviously, and the new owner will have my personal contact info so that I may assist in any way I am able with upcoming endeavors. It is very important to me to see this project vehicle go to a good home with capable mind and hands.

Wow really? Sucks you have to sell it man - I liked this build. Something really different and great attention to detail. Wish I had the cash and ability to pick this up. GLWS

Sucks to see it go. I always wanted to see it in person.

It could be, Grimm. All the strict emissions related stuff for Travis County, Texas are there (though no longer physically installed)...I believe it just may require a California Supra ECU? What are the differences between Cali and Travis County?

hell if i know but it needs every single piece of CA legal smog equipment an the engine needs to be documented as to exactly what vehicle (with vin) it came out of and it has to be from a newer year vehicle than what it's going into. engine swaps are a nightmare out here we have the stupidest smog laws in the country.
