2011 was a good one for TORX.
I got a few good trips in at the beginning of the year, but most of my focus was on preparing for my trip to Moab. The opportunity came up to go, and I felt it could be my only chance to wheel Moab. So I drove my junk 1000 miles down there, wheeled for five days, and drove home. Adventure of a life time, and I'm itching to return.
Even before Moab I started getting the feeling feeling that my Jeep had limited time left. I had pretty much made up my mind it was getting parted after NWF, so over the next few trips I tried pushing it's limits more than ever. Noobfest at TSF this year was a blast! We had a great turnout, and got some great wheeling in.

In between Jeep trips I spent my time in the Yacolt Burn laying down ribbon trails for the new trail system, and typing each stream crossing. It's going to be surreal looking back at this time when we're wheeling the trails ten years from now.
Northwest Fest at Naches this year turned out amazing. I really enjoyed the turnout we had. It was great to see all the NWC members come together, and the wheeling was awesome! With a leaky hydro release bearing I knew this was definitely the last trip for the Jeep

After NWF the Jeep got parted out.
With no Jeep to work on all the time, I got a bit of hiking in over the summer.
Few months later I picked up the replacement, The Nail Salon.
Goals for 12'.
-Get the Jeep up to par to hit the trails.
-Head down to the Rubicon sometime over summer.
-Lead some new runs this year that I've been planning for awhile.
-Let the BOD do their job, and focus on some other priorities.
-Continue hiking, and get a few snow shoe trips in over winter.
