Overall this is a great Cherokee. Runs very strong and shifts well.
What’s good:
2 door/ 5speed combination is very rare in the 1997-2001 Cherokees
Strong running engine
Transmission shifts smoothly
Many new parts
What it needs:
Passenger side tail light is cracked
Driver’s side seat frame is broken [Common failure]
It is 100% stock, and very reliable. Would make a great winter vehicle, or new project for someone. The Cherokee has ~250K miles on it – I know that this seems like a lot, but it runs extremely strong [compression checked, solid across all cylinders].
