1998 Jeep Cherokee 4dr (sport?). St. Louis, MO. I have too many Jeeps so this one must go… This has been a daily driver for over 2 years – runs great. I love this jeep but other responsibilities are forcing me to reduce my fleet. FIRST $2600 takes it!!!! Gotta make a tuition payment NOW – Must Sell. Really - make me an offer.
The Good:
126K miles
4.0 HO L6 engine – runs great.
Power brakes/windows/locks/steering

Class III Frame Hitch
Heat works great
4WD Hi and Lo work great.
8.25 axles (not sure on the diffs)
Exhaust manifold replaced with new header 2 yrs ago.
Sunroof – does NOT leak
Gray cloth interior in good condition
Roof rack with flag post
Tinted rear windows
Cargo Mat
New within the last year:
32 inch tires (BFG/AT-ko 1 year old)
Front wheel hubs
U joints on rear prop last month
Manual Fan replaced by 3 Electric fan conversion
Radiator, Condenser, AC drier all 1yr old.
Ceramic Brakes in front
Battery
All Tie Rods & Ends
The Bad:
I would fix this stuff but I don’t have time to mess with it…
Backup lights don’t always come on – simple fix by cleaning the Neutral Safety switch – common failure.
Stereo needs replace.
Vacuum harness on interior blower housing needs to be replaced. I have the harness and all acuators - just no time...
Right now all air is blowing out the defroster on top.
A/C works but needs a charge.
Keyless entry should work (it has the computer) but I have no fobs and have never tried it.
The Ugly:
Front Fenders are primed – whole jeep needs paint - or not. Wheel it as is!
Custom Front bumper not included – will be removed and replaced by stock front bumper before sale.
Salvage title because the airbags deployed before I got it. Minor Frame damage in front right but not bad.
