124 amp alternator?

So I have to replace my alternator and it says from the factory it came with one that is 124 amp. I got that from jeep when I sent them my vin and it also says it on the window sticker. It is a 01 Limited. However when I was at autozone they only listed one alternator available. Well my friend who is a mechanic is going to put it in for me but all that is coming up everywhere is a 117 amp alternator. Even the jeep dealership is showing only a 117 amp available for the 01 Cherokee. Did Jeep discontinue the 124 and now they replace it with a 117? I would rather have the larger one since my jeep does have the heated power seats so I am sure that drains more juice than an 01 sport.

Any insight on this would be appreciated.
