00XJ front axle D-30 shaft, need source.

My 2000 needs front axle shafts.

I wielded the bearing caps in place last time, so the complete inner shaft assembly is needed. I can find XJ shafts, but they are way to much$$$ from the dealer. Crystler part stores only seem to carry replacments for years up to 1999.

The 1997 XJ front axles I've seen are high pinion, while my 2000 is a low pinion. I don't know if there is any diffrence in the inner shaft.

Where can I get new or used stock shafts for a good price?

I am looking in bone yards, but finding none.

I am not quite ready to spring for alloy, so any suggestions are appreciated.

All the shafts are interchangeable as long as it is the non-disco D30, it's the hubs and rotors that you have to watch out for.
