    exaust question.

I had a dual outlet flomaster installed on my 94. It was totalled in an accident and I bought the truck back for parts. I cut the exhaust off behind the cat and installed it in to my 98. It bolted right in. So my answer would be yes.

98 XJ charges for a bit, then doesn't unless I reset computer

Im not sure about the other guy but I have tested with a digital multi-meter on the battery terminals to verify my guage reading. This being said the last time I monitored the battery, I noticed some discrepancies. Here is the list of events: - Started the jeep and had about 11.9 volts on the...

98 XJ charges for a bit, then doesn't unless I reset computer

I believe I am getting the same issue on my 98. The alternator seems to charge sometimes, but most of the time it isnt doing anything. I have searched for a week and I cant seem to figure it out. I had my alternator and battery tested at autozone and they tell me it is good. I am going to...

    Air conditioning won't engage

Did that fuse correct your A/C problem. I am trouble shooting a similar problem. My a/c clutch isnt engaging. The blower motor comes on so I dont think it's a a/c-heater controls issue. I checked the fuse in the power distribution center and the relay for the clutch and they both seem fine...

    AC/Heater Blower stopped working

Thank you all, I will tear into this on Saturday. There is no voltage getting to the blower so I'm thinking its either this resistor pack or maybe no power to the switch. However when I took the connector out of the backside of the heating/cooling control panel there was one wire that had a...

    AC/Heater Blower stopped working

I have no fan at any speed. So that means no power to the resistor. Is that resistor in between the fan switch and blower or between the power to the switch? Maybe thats a dumb question... I dunno

    AC/Heater Blower stopped working

Nope. Sorry forgot to throw that in. The control for selecting heat, cool, defrost seems to work because in the cool position and defrost, the AC compressor clutch engages

    AC/Heater Blower stopped working

I have read some posts that were concerning a 94 and there is something about a resistor pack and a relay. Does any one know where these are located in a 98'?

    AC/Heater Blower stopped working

I recharged my AC last weekend and everthing worked fine for about 10 minutes. The air was cold and was blowing out just fine. Any idea as to why the blower would have stopped while the AC was runnning. Its a 98 by the way. I've checked some fuses but I'm not positive as to which one is...

    Air Condition Compressor makes noise

I've have a similar problem with my 98, I just replaced the compressor with a used one after the other ones bearings froze up on me. I charged it but havent oiled it. I think there is oil that mixes with the refridgerant, maybe that will help the noise. It only does it when the compressor...

    Calling ALL Add-A-Leafers!

I had Rusty's 2 inch Full AAL in my 94 leaf spring pack. Put those in Jan. 2004, I now have the same pack in my 98 three years later. No sag, but it doesnt get off road much, maybe 4-6 times a year. They are stiff as hell but they are cheap and have worked for me. O-yeah, the 94 stock leafs...

    Wiring two amps?

By grounded together I mean they are spliced together than ran to ground. I run an inline fuse for the power. I will try upgrading the wire. I dont want to run it again but it'll be worth it if thats the problem. Maybe get a new battery as well. It's at least two years old and I have no...

    Wiring two amps?

Both amps are 250Wrms. Wiring is 10 gauge and some 8 gauge. The power is 10g coming from the battery. The battery and alt. are at stock specs whatever that may be. Dont have a high output alt or a good battery. By good I mean better than what it came with.

    Wiring two amps?

I'm trying to install an amp for my door speakers. I currently have one amp hooked up to a pair of subs. I have a distributor to split the power. I grounded both amps together and have RCA's hooked up and ready to go. When finished hooking up everything, the system worked but the battery...

    Kenwood cd player problem

You should only need power 12V (red), ground (black), and continuous (yellow) for the stereo to turn on and function properly. Sounds like the CD player might be malfunctioning. My Kenwood stopped taking CD's a couple a weeks ago. Im guessing it's used. Stereo's act funny when moved from one...

front seat question on my 04' TJ

They replaced the stock seat covers so I think they put the seats in the wrong sides. Just the backs of the seats because the botoms are fine. I knew something was wrong unless they changed something in 04'. thanks for the reply.

front seat question on my 04' TJ

I just got my TJ back from the shop. The whole interior was replaced. When I went to tumble the front seats forward to look at the back I noticed that the mechanism that you pull up was on the inside of the seat (the side oppisite the window) on both driver and passenger seats. The latch that...
