This is what you will “most likely” do....just goina do this or that then, you get the “bug” and it will be “how can I get the 1 ton axles under it”???? Really think and plan well now and it will save you money in the long run, ask anybody on here and they will tell you.
Not sure why companies like Bed Rug do not make a kit for the XJ. These kits for Wrangulars are fitted and just held in with Velcro I think. That way you can pull it out and clean it easily when it gets wet and or muddy. Maybe if a bunch requested a kit....

I like that you made it easy as 1, 2, 3, now if you could help me with step 4, getting approval from the ole ball n chain, step 5, payment, and step 6, installation. Think I got step 7 covered, enjoying.
My experience;
Had several dash lights out, tried to find OEM but couldn't. Even if you get the originals the old ones have a green rubber coating like material that you ruin trying to take it off. Went with LEDs that lasted a couple weeks before one stopped working. Then another one stopped...
First time welder and DIY bumper. If you get someone to help you, let em teach you and don't let em do it for you. It's a good first time project. Mine ain't perfect, but I did it and I'm proud of it.
