    Window tint.

The problem isn't the tint, it's the Colorado license plate. They are looking for "drug" traffickers.

    Window tint.

I tinted one of my cars a few years ago and I will never do it again. The rear sucked and it bubbled after a year or so. I got my MC Countryman done a year ago from a shop on Federal. $120 cash and he got it done in like 20 mins. He said it was warranted, but hard to hold someone to it when...

    Joining the Chevy truck scene

Short bed. Here is the only pic I have for now. Started pulling things apart and compiling a list of parts I need and parts i can salvage. It came with a bed in much better shape, just need to switch over the wheel well covers and build a new wood floor. Previous owners also did a hack job...

Peace out WJ, hello short bed 67 GMC

Looking good! I have a lot of work to do to get mine looking that good. White plati-dip is garbage. I have tried multiple times to use it on multiple surfaces and it never turned out. As for bags, that is the way I'm going. Like kronik said, if you get a quality system and run the lines...

Reminds me of when DPD found my car that had been stolen. It was found in Jefferson County but a several yards from Denver County. They impounded it and I had to pay $500 dollars to get my car out of impound. Had they taken it to Jeffco (the county I lived in) I wouldn't have had to pay a cent...

    Joining the Chevy truck scene

Well, I sold my motorcycle and with inspiration from elguapo, I decided to look for an early 60's c10. I was really looking for a curved front window, but when I saw this one I couldn't pass it up. It needs tons of body work, but the engine and trans are solid. Its an inline 6 (will have to...

So if I throw a crate motor and tranny in mine I can sell it for 16k? I'm sure mine is built way better and it's newer. I think I'm going to keep an eye on this one and see how long it sits on CL. Shall me take bets?

Does it have the springs in all four corners with rear trailing arms?

Peace out WJ, hello short bed 67 GMC

Jealous and inspired!! I'm looking for a early/mid 60's c10 or late 50's Apache. Hard to find one what is original, but not dented or rusted out. I want nice patina and to build the straight six with 3 single barrel, 2 step throttle, carb's!

I'm gonna burn this TJ to the MF'in ground.

+1 on the cat. If not check the evap system (if your jeep has one) could be vapor lock. Might be as simple as the canister or might need a larger fuel rail rather than wrapping all your fuel components.

    Mercedes Diesel Conversion

I'm down . Maybe I chose great lines, it wasn't easy, but I did it. I was having drive shaft problems so my 4WD was N/A till a few weeks ago. I have never owned a vehicle with a locker so I don't know how it is supposed to act, but I can tell you I am very impressed with the powertrax...

    Mercedes Diesel Conversion

I have a locker in the rear and was thinking of adding one to the front, but feel it might be over-kill. I have been to slaughterhouse, miller rock, caribou creek and wheeler lake and have yet to put my jeep in 4WD. As for gears, I think I know what my jeep will be getting this week.

    Mercedes Diesel Conversion

Pulled off the PCV tube and checked it. Not clogged in the valve, the tube or the brass fitting on the intake manifold. Checked the air cleaner, clean. Checked the throttle body, no blow by but it was a little dirty from carbon build-up. Cleaned it real well with seafoam. The PCV valve had no...

    Mercedes Diesel Conversion

Well, thanks to everyone's input and a lot more research, I have decided against the diesel conversion. Now that I have decided against this I would like to get my engine more healthy and capable for my setup. I recently upgraded to 33x12.50 from 32X11.50 tires and added a front bumper, winch...

    Mercedes Diesel Conversion

Yep, checked with the state and emissions is a no go. I can change the vehicle engine type to diesel, but in order to pass inspection, the computer type needs to be of the corresponding year. Being as how I have a 98, it needs to be OBDII and since the engine is mechanical, this is not possible...

    Mercedes Diesel Conversion

After a lot of extensive research on the the diesel conversion, I am very interested. I have found a 3.0 L OM617 I5 Diesel that has 289k miles on it. I would plan to rebuild the engine myself and get most of the parts from http://www.mercedesdiesel4x4.com and do the install myself. The only...
