Anyone use this combo or know if it's possible? I have a 9" rear end and would like to run the dual diaphram booster if it's possible with the E350 master.
yeah I worded that funny, I knew there was no predetermined torque for a crush sleeve, just everything I read said it would take at least 175ftlbs to crush the sleeve so be prepared to be able to apply more torque than that.

Has anyone replaced the crush sleeve with a solid spacer? What are the advantages to doing this? When setting it up do you just tighten it up to set preload and you're good?
Hmm strange, I had all the Tcase linkages and cables/plugs disconnected. Still couldn't get it that far. You sure your engine mounts are good or did you disconnect that too?
The sensor in the radiator is for the e-fan. The temp sensor for the gauge is on the back of the head next to the firewall.
How are your hoses set up? Are you sure you're forcing the coolant to go through the t-stat or is there a hose you thought you needed that you don't and it bypasses the...
How in the world did you get your transmission to drop that far? I couldn't get mine to come that far down for the life of me.
Had to use a stubby wrench and a mm of movement at a time to get mine out. Not to mention they hadn't been removed since who knows when so breaking them loose was...
had a 3" RC lift, I hated it. I have RE now and feel much better about it. My RC lift sagged within a couple of month with minimal offroad use and rode like crap.
So if you are planning on replacing it in 6 months go ahead but I'd say you'll be better off getting something better that you can...
Mine was almost exactly at the point yours is when I replaced it. '88 with 188k miles. I had to make sure the punch was centered directly on the metal core and pound the fire out of it. It finally popped loose.
His still looks kinked to me even in comparison to the new one.
Just as a side note I've seen enough of Rusty's stuff to decide that his products are not right for me.
I'm not saying it's normal, because it's not. I just haven't figured out why it does it all of a sudden. I even changed the thermostat again thinking the other one was bad out of the box.
