Airing down your tires is the key. I have a broken back, and I cannot comfortably drive my Jeep off-road at street pressure. With 33x12.5r15 Yokohama Geolandar I run 26psi on the street and drop to 12-15 off-road depending on terrain. You do need to be able to put air back in the tires, I have a...
This is what I pay for instead of magazine subscriptions or the like. I love the wealth of information here, as well a chance to win cool prizes at least once a year! Thank you to everybody that keeps this ball rolling and makes NAXJA a reality.
I say go for it! It's really common to take out a headlight and make a ram air intake in it's place in the drag racing world. It would be really cool if you dyno it with the old setup then test it again with the new setup and compare results. I'm willing to bet with a big fan pushing air over...
I'm upgrading to 33" tires on Saturday and I need a spare. I'm looking for something in decent condition, brand does not really matter but I do prefer an a/t to match.
Texting is the best way to get ahold of me, but I will try to check back here as often as possible.

I know these aren't XJ parts but I figured somebody here might still need something. My little sister is getting into Jeeps now that she's old enough to drive. She has some extra parts that she asked me to help her sell. These are all (except the flares) off of a 1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ. These are...
I'll dig around, I'm pretty sure I've seen hard numbers that the WJ pump has a higher pressure, but the same flow IIRC. :dunno:
Edit: FAIL on my part, I can't find REAL numbers, but a lot of posts saying "Stock is 1450psi / 2.0gpm and the WJ is 1900psi / 2.8gpm".
I may not have been specific enough, and I hope I didn't waste your time yet iaml3lue, but I'm looking for the windshield frame measurements if that wasn't clear in my first post. :D
I couldn't decide which section this should be in since there's no tech in this post..
Ok, I have a crazy vision for my dream XJ, and this could possibly involve a fold-down windshield if the dimensions on a YJ or TJ are close enough. I'm already planning on a full roof chop and I have a pretty...
Just started watching this, the traffic jam going up the first hill is pretty funny.
Good luck guys, be safe and have fun! :D
