on my buddies 99 xj the cross member it has 1 bolt and 1 nut each side, what is everyone doin to accept the added 1", a person can run a longer bolt in 2 of the four holes but what has been found best for the other 2 that just stub down! he thanks all

i have over the knucke steering, 1 ton. anyone know or heard about rolling the ball joints on the tie rod one forward and one back? i know some toyotas or bigger steerings recamend it as to help w/ steering, any help/ info would help, ie witch side to roll witch direction, if it matters!!
