on my old F350 i ran them on factory steel wheels(actually, 285/75's which are 33x11.50) and they were just fine.
belle tire also didn't even mention the width of rim vs tire either.
when i bought my jeep, i had very street friendly all season tires on it.
i purchased MT/R's have been extremely pleased.

i've seen a couple local older XJ's w/a winch mounted behind the bumper w/a hole cutout for the fairlead.
it looked almost factory. maybe an old Mopar Accessories setup.
going to make my own version. really liked the willy's edition TJ's.

i'm looking at 4.5" kit. they seem more complete part wise. i've researched what RE, RC and Rusty's etc come with and this offers just about everything needed except for an SYE conversion.

i've been takin a pretty hard look at that as well. i love the price, look and it has all features i want.
it will be between that and M.O.R.E bumper. i like MORE a little better cuz of the beef. i like a little tougher look.

back in 92, i had a 78 Ramcharger w/General Grabber AP (all-purpose), these tires were actually, outstanding in the mud. they had a very very mild pavement friendly tread and totally kicked a$$ offroad. wish general wouldn't have discontinued.
