anyone ever start their car and seem like someone else is pushing on the gas pedal. for some reason i start my xj and it revs up pretty high by itself. (dont know how high since it isn't equipped with a tach). i have to start the car a couple times and press on the gas pedal for it to go away.if...

alright, this is the situation. i have an 87 xj with a r-12 to r-134a conversion. the a/c doesnt work so i went out and bought some refrigerant. its one of those that comes with a bottle of the refrigerant, a hose and the gauge with it.ii hook the gauge to the low pressure port and it reads...

just wanted to introduce myself. new guy from travis afb, ca (fairfield-vacaville area). i have an 87 cherokee cheif. no mods as of yet (not on the car yet). i do have a rough country 3" lift on order and tires and rims are soon to follow. looking foward to getting to one of your get togethers...
