I believe i paid just about $1300 all said and done when i re-geared my axles to 4:56. This was at a small local shop. I know the guy;s well. It may not have been the lowest price, but I'm much happier supporting a local shop in the case that I cannot do the work myself
If you can swing it go for the SYE and CV drivshaft. Much better than transfercase drop. IIRC brake lines from a YJ can be used. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Hey, I just dove into my first lift install. It was the RE 5.5 long arm kit. It wasn't too bad, just took time and patience. Also I'm from NH, I don't know where you located, but if you need a hand let me know. I'm always down to help a fellow jeeper
