I think I have the pilots, I got them 5 years ago. the ring has a hard time fitting around mine, it stretched to fit over as it was tightened down. real cheap, but kind of messed up, the lens is on upside down from the back, the lens is a clear lens, so only the writing is wrong.
I as well have a 2000 4.0 auto 4wd 4 dr with no lift and 235/75/15 but they are goodyear wranglers, and get 18-20 all the time. I also have a thule ski box (which didn't change my MPG) but do get less during the winter, around 16-17 MPG
a foot of overhang on the front of the rack shouldn't matter/cause problems, but your crossbars ARE mounted backwards. To turn them around, take the endcap off the rack ( I think it's a torx) and loosen the next two or so fasteners to allow the end of the rail to lift up. Pull the endcap off...
I had a set of the five star 15x8 (not sure of the name) from a wrangler with 235/75 bfg all terrains, and they lloked good on my 2000xj, if you can get them for free, take them.

what door are you referring to? I don't understand why the brake light wiring would run through a door. And as far as a t-tap not harming a wire, yes it will. It cuts the outer jacket to give continuity, so it could potentially corrode the wire with moisture, that is the main reason why I...
I did test for power at the brake light bulb socket and didn't get anything. It was an all of a sudden thing, I was backing up into a parking spot one night and noticed no red reflection on the car parked behind me.
As far as adding/splicing, not sure I want to do that... but it might come...
well, after some testing, it doesn't seem to be the switch. one of the leads from the wire harness always has power, and another only has power when plunger switch is disengaged (sounds like the way it should be)I am at a loss, any other suggestions?
thought that I would find this topic doing a search, but came up empty handed. My jeeps break lights as well as the third light aren't working, but the flashers/directionals do work. Where should I look after finding out the fuses in the passenger kick panel are all good?
