the 2nd and 3rd leafs of a k5 leaf pack will give you 3" to 3.5" lift. I think its the 2nd and 3rd. the one leaf is almost the same length as the top stock xj leaf

i dont have any leaf springs anymore. But if you take the 2nd and 3rd leafs from a k5 pack it will give you 3" of lift.

it deff sounds like a chain prob to me. i have had a chain slip and pop and to "feel and sight didnt seem loose.
