Rough Country Leaf Spring Bushing Size

I did some searching around and got a bunch of mixed answers on the bushing size for the Rough Country leafs. I have their 4.5" leaf pack and would like to replace the bushings in the front and rear eyes, as well as the ones in the shackle (shackles are stock). Do you guys know if they use the...

    Rear Bumper w/o Carrier

I'll take a look at their DIY kit. Not sure if I have enough fab skills to make my own, but do have access to a welder.

    Rear Bumper w/o Carrier

My rear tires got a hold of the bumper caps and are starting to rip them off. So, I've been looking for a rear bumper without the tire carrier. Do you guys have any reccommendations for a rear bumper that's priced well and looks decent? (Meaning it lines up with the body lines and isn't just a...

2001 XJ ZERO OIL PRESSURE AT WARM IDLE

I thought 2000 was the only year with the 0331 head?

Need an Engine for my 2000. What would you do?

Check out the prices on a Jasper short or long block. I went with a Jasper short block and a ClearWater Cylinder Head. I've had it for about 2 years now and it runs great.

Adjustable vs. Fixed Lower Control Arms

I don't really plan on going any bigger (lift-wise) in the near future, I'm tossing around the idea of selling it towards the end of the year and going over to the dark side (getting a Wrangler). If not, I'd end up getting long arms when going to a bigger lift. Do all adjustable arms end up...

Adjustable vs. Fixed Lower Control Arms

That's what I figured, just though I'd check to see if I could save $50 by ordering fixed lol. Thanks for the help.

Adjustable vs. Fixed Lower Control Arms

I'm not looking to spend nearly that much money at this time, haha. Just looking to fix the clunking noise.

Adjustable vs. Fixed Lower Control Arms

My lift came with adjustable rough country control arms -- the old style before the x-flex joints. The threads on the passenger side arm have finally wallowed out causing a clunking noise in the front end. So, I'm looking at purchasing new lower control arms, but am having trouble deciding...

    Rough Country LCA Bushings?

Yup, the arm moves up and down at the threads and back and forth at the frame. Do you have any experience with their new arms?

    Rough Country LCA Bushings?

Contacted Rough Country and the person I talked to suggested that I e-mail a picture of the control arm in order to get a better idea of the bushing. Still haven't received a response indicating whether or not they can supply the bushing.

Low Oil Pressure at Idle-2000 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L

Yup, ran mine for over a year with this issue. Just had to change the oil more often.

    Rough Country LCA Bushings?

I noticed a knocking noise coming from my front end and it turned out to be the LCA bushing on the frame side. However, I'm having issues finding correct replacements. The control arms are the old adjustable style (before the flex-joint) with rubber bushings on both ends. Any ideas on where to...

Low Oil Pressure at Idle-2000 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L

Mine had the same issue -- the oil pressure would drop to zero only at idle (sounded fine when this happened). Turned out to be a cracked head. Basically, the coolant is leaking into the oil causing it to thin out. You might want to check the head as well. Since it is a 2000, just like mine, it...

    Running Hot

Verified the temp gauge reading via the torque android app and a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner. Didn't go above 219* while idling with the A/C on. Thanks again for the help.

    Running Hot

I've actually wanted to get an OBDII scanner for a while. I guess this justifies getting one haha. I have the medium sized hood vents from Run Cool Hood Louvers on it right now. I'm not too sure of the temperature designations for each tick on the gauge, but it stays between 210 and the next...

    Running Hot

Is there a specific area that should be focused on when checking temps with an IR gun or just the whole engine bay?

    Running Hot

I have not confirmed that the temperature gauge is reading properly, this was next on my list to do. I haven't considered eliminating the mechanical fan or wiring the e-fan to an electrical switch. I'd rather not get rid of the mechanical fan, however having the e-fan on a switch does interest...
