I totally agree with comanchedude, as long as you have oil pressure and your engine isnt knocking than dont worry about it, just add lucas when your oil gets changed. So many people are so quick to say "no oil pressure, time for an engine swap" as long as it runs good and you have oil pressure...

So a FRAM tough guard is alright then, and no i dont use syn oil, I use whatever is abundand at the local parts store, sometimes pennzoil sometimes havoline.

I guess i didnt realize that FRAM filters were that cheap, maybe i will use something else, what is the best for the jeep.

Matter of fact this is my 5th vehicle, first one to overheat as long as you keep up maintainance on your vehicle an overheat should not be that common

I've used fram filters combined with pennzoil for years and have 136k on my jeep so far no problems. oil and filters seems just like car brands, everyone has there favorites.
