    strangely enough I got it working again by jiggling around and repositioning one of the relays on the left side forward near the front of the jeep, I guess there was a loose connection on one of the relays, and twisting it so the relay stays in a new postiion seems to solve the problem at least...

    can I fix tps that got wet and wont let me shift out of first (90 xj)

    TPS got wet from leaks in hood vents. My xj auto trans won't shift out of first till about 4500 rpm, and shifts erratically. Assuming its the TPS can I do anything to fix it, dry it, whatever, or do I need to replace. Last time this happened it spontaniously fixed itself after 6 weeks or so...

    Don't know how it rides, haven't put it on yet. I'll post after I test it for a whiile. Pretty cheap way to get a lift though. I'm not sure which year s-10. You might check other threads in the forum searching for "s-10" .

    basic question about leaf springs--

    Ok here's a basic question about leaf springs. When the spring changes shape the top leaf has to get longer when it flattens out --doesn't it?. The other leafs just slide, when they get flatter, but the top leaf is bolted in. Where does the extra length on the top leaf go?.
