    Lowered Mjs

I used a set of ZJ rear coils in the front of my '88 2.5L MJ. They initially provided a drop of around 2" and have settled to a nice 3" now. It also gave a bit of a stiffer ride, but that's what I was going for. In the rear, I will be using blocks to lower it 3" as well, but only until I can...

If I can get my XJ in proper working order in time, I'd be up for it. Any date would work for me as well.

Set of XJ doors and misc - Quincy IL

The 4 door XJ front doors and the doors on an MJ are the same. The 2 door XJ doors are about 8" too long for the MJ.

    86 wagoneer swap questions

The NP228 (and NP229) is a full time 4wd capable case, whereas the NP231 isn't. Also, I'm not too sure that the 228 would be a direct bolt in for the 231 or not, as there's more than likely spline count issues, or even output shaft length issues. The real determining factor on which case to...

    XJ Wagoneer headder panel !!!!

This is the 4 headlight style, correct? If so, I'd definitely like to see a pic, and I'll gladly buy it. Shipping would be to 54751 if you could get me a total quote for it.

Lowered XJ or MJ how low?

The coils themselves did not need to be modified, but I have the larger bumpstop brackets, so some grinding of them was needed for the coils to fit over them and onto the isolator properly. Other than that it was a direct swap. Nope, I actually don't think that of you at all. I know full well...

Lowered XJ or MJ how low?

Here's what I did with my '88 MJ. ZJ rear coil on the left, stock 2wd front coil on the right. Front only side shot of how it sits. Full side shot after. All told, it dropped the front end 2" (it's only a 2.5L, so a 4.uh oh may end up lower), and theres clearance for about another inch...

CRAP! Exhaust is still on crossmember!

Guys, there's an easier, probably cheaper, and quicker remedy. Just get a big metal hose clamp, run it around the exhaust and the crossmember, tighten it up until you can't push the exhaust up anymore, and call it good. I had this done on my '88 MJ and have driven it for over 1,000 miles with...

Did it happen to look anything like this one? I can't seem to remember where I found the pic, but just thought it was oddly interesting, so I saved it.
