Trixie,
Look at the Clipper or Surveyor Cadet line I think with a weight distribution hitch you could pull with an XJ. And if you worked for Keystone GO BACK the QC is horrible now. I usually have a 2 page ticket on a brand new from the factory trailer.

Mark the more I ponder on this the more it makes sense. I'm going to space the booster out a little more from the fire wall and see if that fixes it before I put new pads and rotors on.
Before it goes back on the road I'll go through the front end to see what I missed when I reassembled...
Now that you think about it I don't think I bench bled the master cylinder. as far as the dw I need to make sure everything is tightened. I may have missed something

My 89xj had rust issues and it was time to part ways.. I stripped and scrapped it and bought a 94xj to build. I finished today and took it for a test drive. Didn't work out well. Made it about 1/8th of a mile got it up to highway speeds and hit the brakes. When I hit the brakes some of the...
Found it a couple ground wires were buried under the harness on the pass side. I have spark and fuel. Thanks for the help guys. Figured it was something simple but I tend to over think somethings
I've been working on a new 94xj. I swapped my stroker motor from my 89xj into it. My 89 was a 5spd and the 94 is an auto. I swapped the auto flywheel in of course used the cps that was working before the swap. As far as I can tell all the connections are connected. I also used the distributor...
My 89 XJ is rusting a way and time for a change. I picked up a 94 XJ last week with ~230K and a good body. In the next couple weeks I'll be swapping my lift tires etc over to the new XJ. This means I'll have a ton of unused parts for sale. Most of the parts will come from my 89 XJ. All...
Picking up a 94 2dr with a good running 4.0 that is coming out as soon as I get it. Then selling my 89's 5sp, and transfer case along with other random parts if anybody needs anything I'll ship if you guys need something. Getting excited to start Project Bring out the Gimp.

What's going on guys haven't been around much. Jeep was down and didn't have the money so kinda lost interest in it for a few months. I got it fixed last month and wheeled it. Peaked my interest again. Went to Tuttle for the first time and loved it. How's everybody been?

So I've been having some clutch issues. These issues turned to running issues. After some digging I found that I'm missing one of the bolts that hold the tranny and bellhousing together. My XJ is an 89 with the AX-5. Anybody know what size the middle bolt on the pass side is?

89xj with 4.6l stroker, metallic button clutch. Today I was going to leave work and jeep start just fine. Went to back out of my spot and it kinda studdered a little and I heard a small squeal. Jeep is running fine at this point. Foot on the clutch it started sputtering and acting like it...
meanwhile when the stupid people do something stupid medical science keeps them alive to make more stupid people. Stupid people outbreed smart people by at least 3 to 1. Do the math and then wonder why our society is screwy
