So it looks like my fiance and I will sadly be parting ways with our '01 Cherokee Sport. The jeep is in near excellent condition. Runs like the day we bought it, with 146xxx miles. Exterior is patriot blue, interior is charcoal, both in incredible shape. Far less wear and tear than your average...

Ive owned 5 or 6 pairs of size 10 merrells in various styles, mostly heavy-duty "trail running" types. Every pair cost less than 50 bucks, and every one has lasted until I was tired of them. Check sites like www.sierratradingpost.com for killer sales.

Im running 235 toyo open country a/t's on my 2" BB'd '01. Ive been really happy with them. They have a 50k warranty from the factory and they kicked ass this winter in the 12" to 14" of wet chicago snow. Pretty quiet to boot. Hope this helps.

Not sure of cross streets exactly, but it's just north of Wrigley. Bike's worth a couple grand, and he just finished building it. Total bummer.

I did something similar with the wheels on my old wrangler, but used a 4 1/2" grinder with a sanding pad instead of steel wool, and did 2 coats of metal primer and 3 coats of gloss black. No chipping after a year and a half if you're patient with the application...
