From my readings the NSS controls shift points, reverse lights and the ability to start an XJ. I would try cleaning it or putting one in.

I think I've got one wave in almost 3 years of driving the XJ...most XJ's I see are old people driving them with swiss cheese bodies.

There are no rockers to speak of on that XJ, I wouldn't touch it. The underbody is almost certainly rusted out on the drivers side floorboard, the gas tank will leak soon if it isn't new. There is probably a lot of rust/rot around the leaf springs and shock mounts both on the axle and body...

My unmodified ARB weighs in at around 75- 85 lbs- guessing. I did the install solo, so it's not unmanageable and my springs don't appear to be sagging under the weight.

Are those ZJ or custom front seats? And of course, your XJ looks great.

My 16" ford rims are too tight on the hubs of the XJ, I'm in need of 16" rims...I need to know what you're looking to get and if you'll ship just the rims. If you haven't bought your 15" rims, I have my set of stock aluminum 5 spokes maybe we could work something out that way too.

33's will blow with 3.55's. I have 32's on 3.55's and it's okay, but another inch...no thanks. If you do decide to go 33's, get bumpstops positioned...unless that huge 3.5 kit is bigger than a 4.5 kit. ;)
