I just set up my 96 on 35s and 4.5" a few months ago. Unless you are going to go ridiculously high you will need to trim to fit 35s whenever you go to them even at 6.5". The tire just won't fit in the wheel well unless you bumpstop alot.
I trimmed the front again (had already trimmed for 32s on...
You're going to pull out the spacer and replace it with the ACOS right? Should be a quick job depending on how long ago you had everything apart last....
Finished the welding and got the hoop welded on too. Attempting to paint it but its only 16 out right now so I'm not sure how it'll come out. I'm going to add some fender protection and supports to the hoop but that can wait a little bit and I still need a winch.

My d ring mounts showed up at 5pm so after the kids went to bed I snuck out to fit them in and start welding it all...
The JCR plates are on both sides and tie in to the sway bar mounts as well as the front crossmember. They are the same plates that JCR uses to build their winch bumpers off of, the front bumper plates bolt through them. I started a winch bumper build thread where you can see it all better. The...
I had previously installed the JCR Unibody tie in plates which I am very happy with and which should allow me to run a decent quality bumper that will bolt on in the stock location yet be much stronger without having to pull the steering box any time I need to pull the bumper.
Here's the JCR...
I don't know if you have seen this build http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/jeep-cherokee/1116731-project-goldrush.html but its one of my favorites and he did a really nice job on the rear quarters. I think there's some good pics on page 4 or so of how he did it.
