    Feeler: 1993 built Jeep XJ

Looking to gauge some interest on my 1993 Jeep Cherokee. There will be a couple options I am looking at. First: Buy the body of the Jeep, current axles will NOT come with the Jeep. Suspension included, current tires/wheels will NOT come with the Jeep. I would prefer to work something to where...

    The Nail Salon

I'd say that's a good plan and worth the extra work. Mine has been on it's side and also on it's roof, and it still works. Haha

Wow man, been a long time since I've been on the boards much. This thing is looking great. I didn't see anything as I was reading, but plans for a cage as well?

Electric fan horror stories or successes

I have my winch located behind my front crossmember so I can't fit a mechanical fan anymore. I run two 97+ electric fans and my rig has never overheated since I changed about 3-4 years ago. It only gets hot on long grades going up forest roads, but it has always done that. I have one fan...

    Recommendations on seats?

Going to be putting some suspensions seats and harnesses in my XJ. Obviously lots of different companies that make them. Right now I'm looking into Mastercraft Rubicon and Twisted Stitch Apex. Other considerations would be Beard, PRP, and Corbeau. I know PRP's are great seats, but, one...

Elbe Hills - September Feeler - Update

Re: Elbe Hills - September Feeler I'm most likely down, granted I don't break my Jeep next weekend at the M&G. I would probably be only to do one day though and would have a better chance of going if it was the weekend of the 22nd/23rd. I know my way around the park pretty good...

    Jeep misfiring, sputtering, and stalling

I did try that once when it did it on the test drive. When it started misfiring I drove down the street until I could pull over, turned it off, and then tried to restart it once. It cranked about the normal amount of times, tried to start a little, but then kept cranking and didn't start...

    Jeep misfiring, sputtering, and stalling

I have a 1993 XJ 4.0l that recently has started acting up. It started my last trip out wheeling, it would just shut off. Seem to happen much more going down hill. Generally would crank the normal amount of times and restart and sometimes would be fine, others would be badly misfiring and...

    Hybrid cage build thread

Nothing real important as far as updates, just noticed I never put up the pics of how I extended my bumper mounts for my gas skid mounting bolts. So figured I'd post them up: BTW, thanks for all the kind words guys, much appreciated!

A pillars just go down through the fenders and land on the top of the rocker replacements. They are stitch welded to the inner fenders as well. I will try to take some pics soon.

    Replacing middle (crossmember) exhaust hanger

Thanks, I ordered this: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/insulator-support-bracket-53000101.html I crawled underneath the thing and looked though, and I still don't really get which way the bushing will come out. The top obviously doesn't have tabs so it would have to be from the side I suppose...
