That code confused everyone, had a "P" code for miss fires and cleared those, the "89" code was just that, 89 and had no other info, we were both stumped. He was unable to clear that code, so now I am confused. I figured maybe a new computer. I am also getting a fuel smell but can't find a leak...

I was jumping my buddys Ford tonight and heard a new noise. A tapping from I beleive the last cylinder, closest to the fire wall. Last week I noticed my spark plug had worked loose, fixed that, so thats not it. It goes away as you accelerate, should I be concernd? 1996 4.0, auto, 127,000 miles...

I go to FR's auto, cross from walmart, he is good for little stuff. SRA, out in portsmouth has done some good work on major stuff on my suburban and XJ. I know a bunch of people that swear by buddy! I assume you are on the base, if you need a hand and want to use the hobby shop, let me know.

Hey all, my name is rich, I am from NH, living in RI. I have a 96 sport with 2.5" lift, 31" tires and a ton of custom dents, and the very hard to come by stuck shut drivers side door and "speed" holes rusted into the floor. I will post some pics when I can. Nice to meet you!!
