    NAC 'Spotted' Thread

This past sunday, I aw a nice 97+ cherokee in Easton, MA entering the woods. It was red with 31's and 3" lift. It looked like it had a winch out front and a high lift monted on the roof rack. I would have followed it into the woods, but I was with my wife in her Honda Pilot.

One locker, front or rear first?

I locked the rear first. 8.25 rear with a no-slip. It works great and is quiet. In the rear it is working for you all the time 2wd or 4wd. Jim

    8.25 no-slip quick review

I had a powertrax no-slip installed this week. The unit works great. It has very good street manners and is silent. I have not been out on any serious trails with it yet. What little trail time I have done, it has worked flawlessly. It made huge difference in the mud as well as hill...

    Help with rear diff ID

I have a 2000 cherokee sport and need help with the rear diff id. I looked at the rear dif and there is a tag attached to one of the diff cover bolts that says 35. After seeing this I thought I had a dana 35. I just looked at some axle id websites and it looks like I have a 8.25. Does that tag...

Need help from smart people: creating an "ice warning" LED in the cluster?

Re: Need help from smart people: creating an "ice warning" LED in the cluster? The temp probe in the car will read the same temp as outside. If the outside temp is 35 degrees and you start driving at 10 mph the temp is still going to read 35 degrees. If you drive at 90 mph the temp is still...

    tcase skid question

I just installed a rusty's transfer case skid. The skid bolted through the middle of the crossmember (thickest part). Just drill your holes so they dont interfere with the exhaust pipe brackets or the bottom of the transfer case. Jim
