This might help you if you havent seen these before. Make yourself some cheater bends so you know how much pipe you need and how much distance should be between each bend.

There's still some power running through the lines. Halogen bulbs wouldn't turn on with the little draw but LED's require much less power to turn on. Might need to add a resistor between the power wire and the headlight.
It’s the rubber stuff. I actually went out this past weekend and ran some fuel through. I blame it on bad gas. Drained about 10 oz out and a lot of it was a little oily looking. I think it’s because the gas in the tank has been there for 2 years without moving.
