get it and figure it out...$500 is nice as long as it's not rusted to hell
if you cant get it running, you can part it out and at the very least make yer $$ back....at the very least
I'd have a buddy turn your wheel while you lay under the front end seeing if anything rubs or hits while the linkage moves. Plus you should be able to isolate the location of the clunk better.
Is your sway bar still there? I had a bud whose truck did that too, it was his sway clunking from...
My headlights were dim, when I replaced my grill surround I noticed that the ground on the headlight plug (where the plug mates to the sealed beam) was loose. I could wiggle it and the lamp would brighten & dim. Just dismantled it and cleaned it up, ,then taped it off so it wouldn't get crap...
Check the o rings on the lines attaching to the MC, they need replacing or they aren't seated properly....didnt I just type this??!!

But, ya, I got an auto zone special that lasted about a year...go NAPA or take the hit and get a MOPAR....those shoddy remmaned ones that Auto Zone gets...
Our ranger has to be rolling, slightly, shift into neutral, hit the 4x4 Lo button to get out, ,shift back into drive and you're out......or should be......that's what we have to do evertime to get in or out of 4LO, just like in the jeeps
Yea , sounds like your pump in on its way out. Yu can gt one from a scrap yard if you're really on a budget, or any auto parts store should have a replacement.
Just to be sure...did you check your PS fluid & hoses...try flushing the PS system first too....
Figured it out, the ground prong of the socket was not making a great connection. Tested fine at the wire into the socket, but bad at the actual prong making contact with the bulb.
I also managed to pop my blinker relay in the fuse box, so the combination of those 2 problems really boggled...
