    OHIO M&G

When's the next one planned? I'd love to stop by and put a face to the some of the guys in the MWC.

    Pow-Wow!

Hi everybody! For all of those forum stalkers like me close to the Miami Valley area, the Miami Valley Council for Native Americans is hosting their annual Pow-Wow at Sunwatch Indian Villiage this weekend, June 23 and 24. It's a great event that raises awareness for the presence of the Native...

    One tough sheriff

Here here, I highly support this man. Given how much our cdountry looks to Hollywood as a land of 'what could be', it's a shame that our celebrities walk with such freedom around the legal system. Just because you have money should not put you above the law. Yes, I know, it ultimately does...

    99 CHEROKEE SPORT $3995

Hey Rev, You notice this 'lift' went up .25 inches from the last time he posted this non-sold car? Look, I know I'm a noob, and not that I wanna be a jerk, but this thing stinks to high heaven. 4 posts, for sale posts even, and no communique back to the general public on here about your XJ...

    Zombies with political rights?

Nope, can't say I've ever had to :dunce: But with what you said, sounds like a major PITA. Here's to hopin that my off-road adventures never put me in that predicament!:laugh3:

    Zombies with political rights?

Came across this story today while at work, and it gave me quite a chuckle. The real message here is pretty sad that this stuff can still happen, regardless of a country's 'technological impoverishment' or whatnot. Anyway, it got me to thinking about what would happen if a political group...

    73 Plymouth Duster

Just to let ya know, the link doesn't work. Gives a 404 error every time. I had to go to the main website and look for the '4 Sale' link directly - while the same web address, I can't say why it won't look up. Also, how much are you asking? I couldn't seem to find a price, but kudos on the...

How To Point Out A XJer

Yeah, done just about everything on here. Biggest one: I was watchin Terminator 3 the other day - and right before the part where Arnold turns away from John Conner and goes on a rampage into the vehicles (all pre-'96 XJs), my dad looked at me in disbelief when I muttered "at least they...

What a way to start the day!

Either that, or Frank is the local PETA rep to be sure that, although a majority of people can be maimed by the 'surprise', they better not hurt any of the precious little animals since man is essentially evil and destroying the world, blah, blah, blah. Oh, the things you hear working...

8K Mile trip planned on 170K motor--what would you do?

Just something to keep in mind....recent work statistics (though this may be contradicted by some of the mechanics on here who have more hands on experience with vehicles) from my work showed that the US government states that, including gas, oil, wear & tear, etc it costs an average of $.60 a...

Wierd start up issue (every time)

Goin out on a limb here (with my limited experience), but when is the last time you changed the fuel filter? Had similar problems with a minivan my dad had, but once that filter was changed, it was fine. Doesn't sound like a cracked manifold issue - that would be temperature evident. But...

What kind of "deals" did you get for your XJ?

Right, because they're at the resting/idle gauge point when the vehicle is off. The gas gauge would be the only one to show any difference, regardless of ignition or not, due to the last level the sending unit placed when the vehicle was turned off. Just tryin to make a little joke....:dunno:

What kind of "deals" did you get for your XJ?

Definitely great work. Wouldn't have known that was the same XJ. Though, I do like how your gas gauge is in almost the same position in both the before and after pics.... Gettin some great gas-mileage with that rebuilt dash, eh? Mine was a '94 Country, with 86k, 4.0/AW4/SelecTrac, very clean...

Do your own work, or pay someone to do it?

I generally do all the work myself, unless it is something really major. Being limited in my tool set and without a FSM, I have a reliable shop I take it to in the area. The only way this mechanic gained my trust was the fact that he has 3 Cherokees himself, and one of them is a '68 that he's...
