Here is a pretty general shot of what the confer bull-dog clamps look like. They don't look too awful and I'm really happy with how they have held up under stress. I've had quite a variety of crap up there and the rack refuses to budge!

From my understanding, 4 wheel parts is only experiencing difficulties in regards to their Con-ferr liquidation promotion.

Thanks for the info, the "Bull-dog" clamp mounting system is exactly what i'm looking for. I did make a call to 4 wheel parts, and they do not have -or- sell the mounting hardware. I believe this might be the reason why they currently have the Con-ferr inventory liqudation going on right...

Looks like they might work? Any other ideas?

Not invalid, but they were unable to tell me actually where I would be able to find one (dealer/parts wholesaler) They were indeed very helpful as far as identifying the part I needed and how much it will run me. -A

I just recently acquired a Con-Ferr one piece welded porthole rack. The mounting system was not included and I haven’t been able to find anyone who currently sells them. I checked just about ever off-road retailer at this point, have contacted Con-Ferr, and still nothing. My question is are...

Just a heads up to all who are interested in a Con-Ferr Roof Rack. I just bought a one piece fully welded (4'X5'X6") Rack from Four Wheel Parts with rack floor, tire mount, high jack mount, and aux. light tabs....for right around 250.00! Right now they are running an inventory liquidation...
