Just junkyard it, or look in your classifieds. I got my zj tie rod and drag link with good ends for $10 off someone in my chapter. Ran it for like 7k miles no problems. And that was with 4.5" lift with 32's.
I feel your pain man. I'm lookin for a new one for around 1000-1500 and by the time I contact the person and get a response its already gone. Its happened to me like 5 times in the past month.
I recently returned my jeep to stock (took lift off etc). When it was lifted I had Rough country hydro shocks on it and they were ok but now that I'm stock id like an smooth ride, although a little feedback is nice. What doin you guys suggest for stock replacement shock? Preferably in the auto...
Those look good. If i was still buildin my jeep id have you make me a set. :viking:
Myself...all i did was spray a coat of paint on my front bumper and installed a good trackbar.
Put my passenger window back on its track so now it rolls down, and put a front bumper on I got from Kev (dads xj).
Plate is temporary til i have time to drill a couple holes in the bumper to mount it. And I need to paint it but shit its better then no bumper lol.
John over at Auburn car repair and Offroad. I've bought a bunch of crap from him including stock parts, aftermarket stuff as well as had him do some work on my jeep. He's always easy to work with and prices are always fair.
Your welcome man. :D
I've seen his ads before. I emailed him about a year ago about getting an sye put in my 231. He quoted me $1100 for the install and to 'rebuild' my tcase. Needless to say I passed on that 'deal'. What a prick.
