Replacing my u-joints on my drive shaft I noticed that the old front u-joint by the t case didn't have a zerk fitting on it. The replacements I were giving at the parts store both have zerk fittings on them. Can the replacement u-joint w/ zerk be used on the front?
i will check that stuff out any idea what the cost of those issues would run? How big of a project would they be, I only have basic tools and no garage so I need some idea of what i would be getting myself into.

Yeah i got under there and tried the screwdriver thing and the nut would just jump the threads. So, like any good mechanic I gave up. Fuse box in the vehicle or the engine compartment?? I will give it ago again when i find some flat stock
have you rebuit it?? there shouldn't be any play that i can remember, I had some play in it after i rebuilt mine, make sure your snap rings are all on there is one tricky one let me know.
So went to take the switch off and got the bolt holding it on off and bent the flaps back that hold the bigger nut, now i can't see how to pull it off. I tried useing a flat head as mentioned above with no luck, the nut just slipped the threads, Im affraid to put too much force with the screw...
it seems possible but will the factory 98 cherokee cross members support a cargo box. seems like it would work but i would rather not find out the hard way, Any body out there have any experiance with this setup
