Thanks Lawson, my 98 shows different readings, it's open at 0 and stays at about 68 ohms at idle. This is for a new one, I didn't check the old one when it was in place.
Hi all, does anyone know the resistance to pressure values of an oil pressure sender for a 1998 XJ? I've poked around the and can't seem to find any information on this one.
Probably not your problem, but if your battery is on the way out your car won't be able to hold idle without stalling out. Happened to my '98 and a new battery solved it (it was still starting fine).

I installed new steering components today in my 1998 XJ, doing the ZJ tie rod upgrade. Components used were Moog problem solver (I also replaced the drag link and it's TRE that connects to the pitman arm.
