i would like to know if i can take the dash out of a 99 xj and put it into a 93 xj. not going to use the controls or the guages from the 99. just need to know if this is posable. just to update the interior the 99 is totaled.
ok well heres an update got a tcm and that didnt work. got a tps and that didnt work but gave me better trottle responce. flushed the tranny yesterday so now all fluid is new. that seemed to fix the problem so far but did get 3 shift solenoids. so if it does mess up again then i can fix it right...
i talked to a guy that owns a 97 and his are the same way as mine are so thanks for the input i guess ill have to un hook a line and and see what way the fluid flows
i double checked them and mine dont match the diagram so i take it ill have to disconect one of the lines and see what way the fluid goes then and why did you have to replac your line
ok i im going to be installing a tranny cooler. but my lines dont match where there exposed to be. in the pic the clor lines are how the factory says there exposed to be. and in the yellow boxes is where mine are conected at. so wich ones are right?
i talked to sone one on cherokeeforum and they said to change the throttle body positioner switch cause that as well can cause this to happen do you think this is true
ok i have a 97 xj 4.0 aw-4 transmission and 231 transfer case with 234000 miles on it . it will shift fine and then when i come up to a light and go to take off again its just has a hard time going got two codes one was transmission control module malfunction and the other is shift solenoid b...
