Looking for clarification on the Milwaukee drawing. If we are not a current member, there is a $30 extra charge to become or renew during registration. So, is everyone that pre-registers entered, then? Or does the NAXJA membership have to already exist?
Just checking. I already have one...
If using the calculator, be sure to measure your tire height. Mine are 35s, but between being km2's and having 50000 miles on them, they measure 33. And inputting 33 puts the calculator pretty close to my GPS verified speeds.
For the gears, you could count driveshaft rotations if you don't want to pull the cover. Lift just one rear tire off the ground. Mark the driveshaft and count rotations as the tire is manually turned. The spider gears will cut the ds revolutions in half. So turn the tire 10 times, and divide...

Don't worry about it until there is a problem. They weren't failing on the road or trail - the joints were just wearing out prematurely. So there will be warning signs before there is a real issue. The center grease joint is placed similarly. If you are looking to lube it in place, it is very...
Another vote for Tatton's. Curtis does great work. I had the exact same issues with 2 TW shafts as described above. Switched to Tatton, changed nothing else, and problems went away. Although, TW sells thousands of shafts. If everyone had these problems, they'd be out of business. This has to...
Here are the folks that made it out today:
There will probably be a rough 2016 chapter schedule coming soon from the new Management. :looney: Stay tuned.
I'll briefly be there. Probably running on Saturday only. We have a big Disneyland adventure a couple weeks earlier and I can't swing any vacation time. :-)
