I have the same problem, ever since I got the Heep two and a ahlf years ago. I just dealt with it. It does rain enough in SoCal to be bothered but if someone knows how to fix it I am all ears.
Isn't it a great, cheap way to lift the rear?I helped my brother in law do the same thing a couple of years ago. It still looks great, hasn't sagged at all. But my buddy got the RE 3.5 inch lift with the aal, and within a year it was sagging alot. Congratulations on a quality install.
Cranemann, if you did as JeeperJohn suggested and the noise is still there then you do not have a rod knock, it is no other noise. If you rebuild the engine you will still have the same noise/problem.
