WTF???
in the following link, there is an audio clip of the 911 call where he turned himself in.

This guy is seriously messed up and i hope they put him away for many lifetimes. He elected to defend himself, so hopefully he won't get off as "mentally incompetent to stand trial'...
I don't have the drill bit that came with my hack and tap SYE. Which drill bit should be best suited for the task of drilling the mainshaft (i.e. cobalt, titanium etc)
Also how long did it take those of you that have done this project to drill the hole?
Thanks
General consensus among the rock crawling world is that a HP 44 with alloys is usually only good up to about 38's, some say 37 is the max they would want to run.
Many people can keep 297x jointed d-30 shafts in-tact on 35's as well. In the 44 you have the SAME u joints as a 30 which seems to...
Yeah they got the dual patterns for 269, but if I ever upgrade the front end, it's gonna go straight through the 5 on 5.5 pattern to an 8 lug( i.e. d60).
I've gotten mounts from both advance and autozone that fit. IIRC it does matter which way it's put in, and it can be a pain to align the crossmember to framerail studs after replacing.

Price is shipped in the lower 48 too.
Merry xmas to me
i dunno if you guys had seen this but These Guys are offering a pretty good deal on alloy 44 shafts ( $219 in post ~12 ).
I ordered mine and the bearings were not in the first package, bearings were overnighted and arrived the next day.
No I'm not affiliated with these guys in anyt way...
Deffinitely not questioning you, but what values are you using to arrive at that? I can't manipulate numbers to get lower than 190% anti dive with all links converging at the same horizonttal plane.
Just to reiterate, If you took a 4 foot solid rod and drilled straight throung both framerails, then all links would mount on the line of this rod? (this is all in theory; not withstanding drivetrain interference. just trying to make sure i understand you)
If that is the case:
That should...
1- Body swap
2- axleshafts; purchace and install replacement front drivers and slap in new rear alloys
3- re-attach the catback exhaust with something other than a bungee cord ( borla rear hanger broke however their million mile warranty doesnt cover offroad usage and the muffler is merely a...
